We have not always been pet sitters though, we met at University and have worked in relevant fields for eight years. Christine used to be a Team Leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry and Isobel was a Finance Manager.
Christine chose redundancy in December 2002, and after volunteering at the Cheshire Dogs Home and some retraining, she set up a pet sitting business in September 2003 called PawsaWhile.
Isobel took voluntary redundancy in September 2004, and after a fun filled break travelling for six months we joined forces as ICpaws.
We have also been joined in June 2006 by Diane Rose who has always had dogs and used to breed mini daschunds. Then in August 2008, by Debbie Dicken who is a keen dog walker. She's volunteered for the RSPCA and has always been surrounded by animals.
We are fully insured, registered with NARDS (National Association of Registered Dog Sitters) and have qualifications in Animal Care & Nutrition, Kennel Management and K9 First Aid.
